This is totally not true. We don't sell any user data under any circumstance at all! Find our privacy policy here https://adblockplus.org/en/privacy. If you have questions about our acceptable ads initiative you can find details on that here https://acceptableads.com. No company can pay us to have their ads unblocked. In fact, a lot of companies who's ads fall under the acceptable ad criteria don't pay us anything at all. They most certainly do not pay us for user data as we DO NOT sell it. Our goal is to contribute to a more sustainable web. Users also have the ability to turn off "allow acceptable ads" in their settings.

The newest version can be installed on a old version of Firefox (using version 56 myself) by going to this url: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1549017

That is not true at all! No company can pay us to have their ads shown. We do allow some ads by default as a part of our Acceptable Ads Initiative but ads must meet the criteria before they are whitelisted. Also good to know, is that a lot of companies who's ads meet this criteria don't pay us anything at all. Users who do not wish to see these ads, can turn off "allow acceptable ads" in their settings.
