I love this extension. It makes it more visually pleasing than all the white backgrounds. Some sites still need work but I have seen over time how they get adopted correctly making it a must have cause you know this extension is always improving and not left to dust without bug fixes and such.

Night Eye has proven to be the best 'dark mode' extension I've used. Because I suffer from light sensitivity, this extension has greatly reduced my eye strain! I've used other extensions but NightEye has proven (to me) to be the most consistent across most websites.

There is the occasional 'broken' site, but typically, that website is using unconventional (ie non-standard) web technology

I finally got tired of my browser lagging while an extension tried to figure out how to "darken" a div. Night Eye just... works. It’s smart enough to know that "dark mode" shouldn't mean "distorted colors and weird artifacts." It’s sleek, it’s fast, and it makes my Firefox setup feel 10% more expensive. Stop settling for messy inversions and just install this.

I got the app to help cover a few odd-and-end sites that I would only visit once, except it kept ruining other sites like gmail. I got tired of constantly turning it off on the sites I use frequently, so I uninstalled it. Now Youtube and DuckDuckGo struggle with *retaining* dark mode settings. I'll definitely be using a different app to resolve this, if possible.

Was ich besonders feiere: Websites bleiben nutzbar und gut lesbar, selbst auf Seiten, wo andere Erweiterungen gern mal alles zerschießen. Außerdem wird bereits dunkles Design nicht plötzlich in hell umgedreht.

Top sind auch die flexiblen Einstellungen: pro Website anpassen, zwischen mehreren Modi wechseln und Helligkeit/Kontrast/Wärme bzw. weniger blaues Licht einstellen – perfekt abends oder beim Nachtschicht-Modus. <- Dem kann ich mich anschließen von einer anderen Bewertung hier!

i've been using night eye on firefox and it's honestly great. unlike some other extensions that just invert colors and make images look weird, this one actually converts the page so it looks natural. it's way easier on my eyes, especially at night.

i like that you can adjust the brightness and contrast if a specific site looks a bit off, but usually, it just works right away. the support team is pretty responsive too if you find a bug. definitely recommend it if you hate staring at bright white screens.

Doesn't work properly on sites with its own dark themes, turn on normal mode does nothing - dark becomes white.
