PRIVACY POLICY

This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.

DATA STORAGE:
All translated words and statistics are stored locally in your browser using Firefox's storage API. This data never leaves your device and can be deleted at any time by clearing the extension data or uninstalling.

NETWORK REQUESTS:
Translation requests are sent directly to Google Translate's public API (translate.googleapis.com) to provide translation functionality. These requests only contain the specific text you choose to translate. We do not log, track, or store these requests.

PERMISSIONS EXPLANATION:
- contextMenus - Adds "Translate and Save Word" to right-click menu
- downloads - Allows exporting your word list as CSV file
- storage - Stores your translated words locally on your device
- activeTab - Accesses only the selected text on the current page
- tabs - Detects page language for more accurate translations
- https://translate.googleapis.com/* - Sends translation requests to Google Translate

NO TRACKING OR ANALYTICS:
We do not use any analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party services. Your browsing activity and translated words remain completely private.
