Audio Recorder is an addon that help you record audio from your computer's microphone.

To work with this addon, please click on the toolbar button (blue record icon). Once the audio recorder UI appears, please click on the - Start Microphone - button on top left corner. The app will ask you to give permission for the microphone access. Once you give access, the addon is ready for recording media.

Please press on the - Start Recording - button. Once you are done with the recording, press on the - Stop Recording - button. The link to download the recorded audio will be added at the bottom of the UI. Click on the download link to download the audio to your computer. Please note that the audio will be downloaded to the default download location in your browser.

Note: downloaded audio is in "webm" format. In order to get more information about webm format, please visit this Wikipedia Page.

If you want to change " .webm" format to a different one, please use a third-party software. There are many apps for converting a audio format to another. Moreover, many websites also offer this functionality. Just type - convert webm - keyword in Google, and see the available options to convert your audio file. Please note that, you need to first download the WEBM audio to your machine, and then convert it to a desired format with third-party softwares. Currently there is no option to convert the audio format within the application.
