Baremetal new tab extension provides user the ability to customize and personalize Firefox's theme and new tab page. It also, optionally, provides the ability to access system level Apis in the browser script uploaded by the user.

This extension empowers Firefox customization with dynamic themes and custom new tab pages. It also optionally enables user-provided scripts to access system-level APIs via a companion native app. The core extension provides the framework and permissions; theme customization and native API access are user-enabled features.
