I absolutely love this extension! It makes summarizing the YouTube videos in such a concise and easy to use format. I love this.

Great extension that works as advertised! I like not having to leave the YouTube tab to save time or to generate a few focus questions to help me actively learn from content. (It also feels native and looks *so much* better than other extensions when paired with transparent themes / mods in the Zen browser.)

While I like the simplicity of short vs detailed and most Gemini models often work, I do wish was a way to select e.g. Gemini 2.5 Flash or newer models when existing offers don't quite hit the mark. Allowing the user to fetch new models without waiting for the developer to add them, or even a BYOM (bring your own model) option would be great.

Too many YouTube creators just don't get to the effing point. They populate their vids with fatuous stock imagery or boring AI dreck. Audio tracks are often too wordy, meandering and probably written by some LLM. Clarify AI creates on-point summaries which save a lot of time, OUR time. I high recommend this extension.

As of now, it forces you to connect your Google account with their "Clarify AI" endpoint which who knows what is up to.

been working great until it started preventing the subscriptions page to load.

I've been using your add-on and finding it very helpful, but I've encountered an issue since yesterday. I'm no longer able to load the YouTube "Subscriptions" page (youtube.com/feed/subscriptions).

The page loads correctly if I disable this add-on. I've also confirmed that this problem occurs even when this is the only add-on installed.

I'm using Firefox version 138.0.1.

I've updated the add-on to the latest version as you suggested, and I'm happy to confirm that the YouTube "Subscriptions" page now loads perfectly without any issues. The problem has been completely resolved.

Makes no sense to have to watch an animation play out for a time saving/productivity add-on.

Currently using the old version with automatic updates turned on, until the option to disable animations is turned off

I miss the option to remove the animation from the first iterations of the app. With the text animations appearing gradually, it's very jarring when you're reading it whilst it generates and the word you were reading jumps to the next line. I would also love an option to customize our own query to summarize the videos, for people that want specific things, like for example, a list of key points from the video in a very concise manner and don't want to type it out every time. Apart from that the extension works great and it has saved me over 1700 minutes. Thank you for your work Alex
