Claude Chat Exporter adds an export panel to every conversation on claude.ai, so you can save your chats in multiple formats with full control over what gets included.

Scope

Works on Claude chat conversations at claude.ai. Claude Code sessions are not supported, and neither is the Claude Code CLI or desktop app — this is a
Firefox extension and reads conversations from the page you have open.

Privacy

Everything happens in your browser. The extension reads your conversation from claude.ai using the session you are already signed in with — the same request the Claude web app itself makes — and builds the file locally on your machine.

No third-party servers are involved. Nothing is collected, transmitted to anyone else, or stored.
