Freely Porn Blocker is a simple, local-first Firefox extension designed to block access to pornographic websites while keeping browsing private.

The extension works directly inside your browser. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share browsing history, visited URLs, page content, settings, or any personal data. All configuration is stored locally on your device.

Protection modes:

Standard mode is recommended for daily browsing. It blocks known adult websites by domain and avoids broad keyword filtering. This reduces false positives on educational, recovery, music, news, and social media content.

Hardcore mode is more aggressive. It blocks adult domains and also applies keyword-based detection. In this mode, safelists, URL exceptions, and trusted platforms are ignored. This mode may block legitimate content if it contains adult-related terms.

Privacy:

Freely Porn Blocker is local-first. It does not use external servers, analytics, remote tracking, telemetry, or account systems. The extension only stores your settings locally using Firefox extension storage.

Limitations:

This is not a parental-control suite and does not replace device-level supervision, DNS filtering, or network-level controls. Blocking is based on maintained domain and keyword lists, so some adult websites may not be blocked yet and some false positives may occur in Hardcore mode.
