VTab Privacy Policy

VTab is a new tab dashboard extension created by Samir Masoud. This privacy policy explains what data VTab may collect, store, or transmit when you use the extension.

Data VTab may store

VTab may store user-created dashboard data such as saved websites, shortcuts, folder names, layout preferences, theme settings, and extension settings.

If cloud sync, account login, or premium features are used, VTab may also process account-related information such as email address, user ID, subscription or premium status, and synced dashboard data.

How the data is used

The data is used only to provide VTab features, including organizing shortcuts, saving folders, syncing user settings across devices, enabling private folders, restoring dashboard preferences, and verifying premium access when applicable.

Local storage and cloud sync

Some data may be stored locally in the browser. If the user enables cloud sync or logs in, selected dashboard data may be transmitted to the cloud service used by VTab so it can be synced across devices.

Data sharing

VTab does not sell user data. VTab does not share user data with advertisers. Data may only be processed by the services required to provide account, sync, storage, or premium access features.

Private folders

Private folders are designed to help users organize sensitive or personal links inside the extension. Users should not store passwords, payment details, or highly sensitive personal information inside folder names or saved links.

Remote code

VTab does not download or execute remote scripts. Network requests are used only for features such as account login, cloud sync, storage, or premium status verification when those features are available and enabled.

User control

Users can remove saved data by deleting their folders, shortcuts, or extension data from the browser. If cloud sync or an account system is used, users may contact support to request account-related data deletion.
