Dont waste your time, Once installed it works for that session, then when you close the browser, it disappears while it takes up CPU. Shame on you shitty developer. Also to note, the 37 5stars are all fake. Extension reported and flagged.

It's not working at all. I tried using this regex pattern to block all those annoying clickbaity videos with titles like "The X situation is crazy!" and it didn't block anything:

\bsituation[\w\s]is[\w\s](crazy|insane|wild|unbelievable)

The members only vids were diving me crazy, this seems to block them. I am truly grateful.
I had tried several diff code lines for uBO that did nothing to block members only vids and I was well past highly annoyed.

I mean... it does what it says it does, but would be a lot better if the notice that it's blocked a video didn't INCLUDE the word it was blocked because of, IN BOLD PRINT. So... there's words I don't want to see/hear in videos... and you feel the need to ANNOUNCE the thing that I have specifically told you *I don't want to see*. See where I'm going with this? You could like, instead, say "Blocked due to your YTBlock preferences." That would be better.

It is a great extension and it does what it says but it really slows the browser down as to make it unusable.

Blocks channels fine, but one weird thing I noticed is that when I open a new video, it will sometimes show the comment section for the last video.

Works well and helps a lot, especially love the ability to set click based disabling. Would be nice, if there was a way to apply the blocking to just the video and not the recommended videos on the side, as it slows down the site, even if I have disabled the sidebar with Untrap.

Banger extension. Actually smites all the clankers in youtube comments, which keep commenting same vile stuff under literally every comment on popular channels.

5 stars, because I think, this can be fixed.

Version 5.13.1 (August 28, 2025):

- On the main page no red X after the channel name and no entries in the menu.
- But this works, when I open the video.
- Blocked videos are listed on the main page without a blocking-overlay, however, on the video's page you get the blocking-overlay.
- It seems that the blocking-overlay sometimes works on the main page as well.

Thanks for all your hard work on this. I've been happy with this extension until now, but since the latest update, videos from channels I've blocked are showing up again. When I hover over a video and click the red block button, the channel gets added to the block list in the options, but it doesn't actually hide the videos. I've been using it with the overlays hidden, and it seems like the blocking only works properly when the overlays are shown.

Doesn't seem to work in private windows any more.

However the reason for 3 stars is that when a video/channel is blocked, you have to have the overlay enabled for it to actually be blocked. If I disable the overlay, then "blocked" videos/channels still appear in my suggestions. I just want them completely removed
