To provide its features, the extension collects and stores only publicly available Instagram data and minimal user-related information. The collected data includes:
- Usernames, profile types (private/public), and follower counts of users in the followers and following lists.
- Dates when the extension first detects a follow/unfollow events

2. How Data is Stored
- Locally in your browser is stored in IndexedDB to optimize performance
- On the Extension’s Server to allow access across multiple devices.

3. Permissions Required
- "cookies" & "webRequest" – Used only to verify which Instagram account is currently logged in.
- Host permission for instagram.com – Needed to interact with Instagram’s API and retrieve public information.
- Access to the extension’s API – To sync stored data across multiple devices.

4. Data Protection & Privacy
- No private or sensitive data is collected.
- No personal messages, posts, or direct interactions are accessed.
- The extension never sells or shares user data with third parties.
- Public Instagram information collected by the extension is the same data anyone can view while logged into Instagram.
