I used to love the Bitwarden extension, but after they switched to this new UI, I can no longer say that. Instead of clicking on the name of the login to fill the page, now I have to look for and click on a tiny little button. NO. This is NOT better, bring it back the way it was, or give us a setting to choose how we want it.
This one little detail greatly changes how we interact with the app.

Edit: And copying the username/password is now a 2 click step instead of 1 click!!
Come on Bitwarden, why are you going backwards??

Hi. Mare sure you are on version 2024.12.4 or above, then check under Bitwarden Settings > Autofill > "Click items to autofill on Vault view" and Bitwarden Settings > Appearance > "Show quick copy actions on Vault" if you want to restore previous functionality that you may prefer.

    1 step forward 2 steps back. Each realease makes annoying ui changes that make it less user friendly. Latest version, ctrl+y to (in firefox) doesn't give focus to the search vault. It may sound trivial, but when I use this password manager in very delicate environments, using the mouse to search is a pain in th a$$

    Doesn't work with biometrics on either Windows desktop or android. Constantly logs you out even after adjusting settings, and doesn't connect to desktop app properly.

    Hard to save my newly generated password (using the context menu) as the extension keeps clearing my clipboard. And guess what, then i need to go back to generator history and each time it generated new entry to history so you end up confuse which one is the one you picked earlier.

    Switching to Proton Pass to boycott the USA. That being said Bitwarden has served me well for the past 3/4 years and has saved me in many instances.

    Bitwarden is wonderful and saves me so many headaches and gets five stars! - this review is for the browser addon only!
    For some reason, they had to update the design... Fine, I liked the old one better but anyways...
    But now, instead of just clicking on the entire tile, you have to click on "Fill" and to copy only eg. the password now requires two steps. This may sound nitpicky but if it's all the interaction you ever have with this plugin and that just got a lot more tedious it's not a good thing. I'd love to be able to revert here :/

    4 stars as in 80% of time when I type master password I have to do it twice and it takes time to login.

    Great password manager, open source and affordable. I got it for the whole family so we can all practice good data security habits. The newer versions of the extension are a lot better than they used to be with auto-fill etc. On par with 1password in my opinion.
