- Works fine, almost all sites load perfectly with the correct settings granted you don't go in like a noob and go nuts with all settings and don't read the documentation.
One issue though is YouTube, extension updated to 0.20.0.7 today and YouTube ended up loading without polymer, basically it literally loads as if it was YouTube during 2012 or something with no dark mode and less features.

I'm sorry that you had to go through all that. In the previous versions of Chameleon, disabling Polymer would only kick in when using a non-Firefox profile. The problem with this method is that if you're using one of the random profile options, this would cause issues when using Youtube. The site would break and toggling Polymer wouldn't fix it until you changed your profile to Firefox to restart the process. I've removed the Polymer handling code so this should be resolved in the next update that will be released later today. 开发者回应

I will be adding a few screen resolutions in the next major update. Screen spoofing will be improved to better mimic real browser profiles. Could you add more screen sizes to next update, Also please add more windows and mac os browser versions.

发布于 5 年前Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately, changing about:config settings programmatically isn't possible with the WebExtension API. The best alternative is to reach out to Mozilla to create new APIs for specific about:config entries.- Amazing extension against tracking. Needs other addons to complement it though. Very nice set of features.
A good anti-tracking test is this tool: https://webbrowsertools.com/privacy-test/
With other extensions installed as well aim for a score of 50/100. Then add VPN & fingerprinting protection. You are able to reach 90 and 100. Manually add those points.开发者回应

Disable SSL False Start security.ssl.enable_false_start true
Disable SSL Session Identifiers security.ssl.disable_session_identifiers false

I will try it for some time and update my review if needed, but I'm pretty confident it will not be necessary :-)
I am now allegedly browsing with chrome on an iPhone with a 1-meter-wide screen resolution, ... for the next hour, at least. priceless.

The closest you can get to that functionality is to use the whitelist editor and creating a rule for each site you want to have a separate profile for. - Usually i dont like to install any add on that isnt a must have. After testing Chameleon i found out that this is one of the must haves!
I have changed a lot of about:config settings, but i did roll back network.http.referer.XOriginPolicy and etwork.http.referer.trimmingPolicy. I hope those are the 2 most important one to set back to default(?)
