To all who are coming here from I Don't Care About Cookies due to Avast buyout:
These add-ons do entirely different things!
IDCAC simply hides the pop-ups so they don't annoy you, it doesn't deny them. Cookies can still be stored.
Consent-O-Matic actually performs the logic to explicitly *deny* the cookies for you automatically, as well as hiding the pop-up.
This is a functionally better extension anyway, so it's a good thing that people are switching.
Just wanted to drop this note here because people seem to think they do the same thing, when they do not.

- 评分 5 / 5来自 Hrodvitnir， 3 个月前Only had this extension a hot second, and I actually added and removed a couple of other ones thinking they weren't working - when it looks like Nature.com has just managed to block these (confirmed it worked on Cell). I'm glad I found this, anyway, because it has the clearest, nicest interface I've seen! Both the simple toggles of what cookies you will accept, with explanations, and the fact you can add your own rule lists. Amazing work, thank you so much.
