Letting the punishment fit the crime department: The idiots who have been pushing low contrast type should be put in a prison with ones who write novels by pasting letters cut from magazines onto pages (think ransom notes), the ones who stopped using words on signs in favor of hieroglyphs, the ones who make the power switch almost impossible to find on electrical appliances, and doctors who write important medical information in an indecipherable scrawl, and they should all be forced to use each other's annoying work. Review by vdicarlo: Font Contrast Fix has unfortunately become an essential extension. It does the job, and I am grateful to Fushko for giving it to us. Suggestions: global default and settings by site and page, apply fix to text boxes like this one that are currently unaffected while you are working in them.
3/22/2018 - I do not perceive any effect when used on my Opensuse Linux Leap 42.3 XFCE box with Firefox 64 bit version 52.7.2 Seems like this happened some time ago. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Perhaps you could post or send me the url of a site where its effect should be very noticable. I would be willing to try to troubleshoot. This extension was too useful to lose. My domain is dicarlolaw top level com where I get mail at my username above.

- It used to work but now it doesn't play nice if you have other extensions like uBlock or VPNs and more. It needs a major update. You need to know how to tweak your settings. Otherwise, the default settings don't do much. If Fusco spends a bit more time providing instructions and updating his guide which is not current it could be a "game changer". But it looks like it's abandoned.

If anyone is interested in its Chrome version, here is link to the plugin's chrome port.

Chrome port works exactly as the Firefox plugin, except for toggle on/off button. - 评分 5 / 5来自 EerorErrie, 2 年前It's a bit complicated to set it functional, but it works, as a font-zoomer, that's it. Nice job for saving my eyes from those stupid micro-font webs, thanks.

I don't think this is the fault of this extension though because the other extension takes over all styling. So no stars deducted.
I like the option to increase the text size too. It adds the missing toolbar icon that Firefox refuses to give us for toggling custom font size.
Text looks a lot better in pages with lighter backgrounds and black text. I also love all the great options for getting things just right, and I love that the changes can be customized for each website, or use blacklist mode. - 评分 5 / 5来自 NikiRandom, 2 年前Only just installed this but it seems very good. Simple and effective.
My only minor criticism so far is that the icon is, ironically, pretty much invisible in most of the FF themes that I have.
Oh, and it doesn't seem to work on Facebook?
