Video saving doesn't work but there are alternatives for that. The file naming works as long as nobody you follow "likes" the same image. If someone you follow does like the same image, the file name will be tagged with that IG's account name.

If downloading videos as well as correct naming when saving JPG files would work, it would indeed be the ideal "Media Helper for Instagram"...
Unfortunately only a meager average at the moment (Ver. 1.27.5)
Nevertheless, thanks for creating the add-on.

the file naming is broken, its either give wrong name (not the same as the username from which the image is download) or not giving name at all

Works well for images. Not working for videos.

Trying it out, can't get it to work. Restarted FF and my PC overall. Checked or all/any updates, none. Turned off all other Extensions to try this one by itself, cannot get that symbol on anything from or on I.G. to be able to d/l photo or video. Sorry!

As of 30/05/23 this does not work for videos but it does still enable you to download images. Issues raised on the developer's GitHub don't appear to get answered, so I am not sure if this extension is being monitored anymore. Presumably at some point soon Instagram will update again and the whole thing will stop working for good.
