SSFeatures does not collect any of your SmartSheet data, such as cells, rows, columns, sheets, dashboards, reports, and forms.

SSFeatures does collect the email that you use to log into SmartSheet, to verify that you are on the 30 day free trial, or have a valid subscription. This is the only SmartSheet data that is ever collected by SSFeatures.

SSFeatures requires permission “scripting” and “host_permissions” for “https://app.smartsheet.com”. This is required so that SSFeatures can add a script onto the SmartSheet webpage, so that SSFeatures can add buttons, forms, checkboxes, and other HTML elements onto the page. This allows SSFeatures to integrate features direction into SmartSheet.

SSFeatures requires permission “storage”. This allows SSFeatures to save settings directly in your browser, such as your sort settings and spell check dictionary. This is important so that we never have to send any of your data to our servers. This improves your privacy and your security by making sure that nothing ever leaves your browser.

If SSFeatures encounters a crash or throws an internal unhandled exception, SSFeatures sends information about that crash to Sentry. This event does not contain any of your data.

While you are using SSFeatures, SSFeatures periodically sends analytics to PostHog which lets us know that SSFeatures is still working and that nothing has broken. These events look like “AUTO_SORT_ATTEMPT”: 1, and “AUTO_SORT_SUCCESS”: 1. These events do not contain any of your data.
