I can't see the point of using this add-on to stop the video part in the traffic as when I checked the network traffic using DevTools it somehow happens to generate more data compared to the video quality set to 144p

Does not work. Network monitor still registers video stream downloads after the extension is activated. The only difference is the overlay appears that tells you video streams are disabled.

1 star for permissions for all websites.

This is a MUST for those that listen to music and podcast on youtube. Thanks for this useful addon!
Edit : It doesn't work now. Used this add-on for last 4 years. :(

This plugin, is fake, as it does not limit the data usage or even stop the downloading of Youtube videos.

The video parts are still downloading in the background, just the overlay image, is shown on top of the video, hiding the video content.

Shouldn't request permission to read data on ALL the websites, since it works only for Youtube. There are other extensions who do that. Uninstalled immediately.

Does what it advertises. Unfornately i can not use the controls to fast foreward or rewind, change volume or anything else than just listening after the page loaded.
