来自 KnottGylty, 5 个月前Hmm, is it just me or do practically all of the positive 5* reviews (which aren't all that many) seem sorta like they're written by the same source, be it the developer or AI generated. They all regurgitate pretty much the same talking points while using practically the same exact phrases & 'buzz words' such as the repeated use of the phrase "Game Changer!" & the reiteration of the word "platform". That just seems more like what an advertiser would push rather than what various random users would be most likely 2 boast about. I see this trick used often in the reviews 4 products being sold by 3rd parties via Walmart online. There it's super obvious because the same exact bad English is repeated verbatim. In this case, I believe the fraud is considerably more sophistocated, rendering it less noticeable 2 anyone who lacks the ability 2 think critically when evaluating truth from deception.
I suppose its possible the product in question is actually decent, but feels the need 2 bolster their #'s by making it look as if many others have tried it with favorable results in order 2 boost consumer confidence 4 new potential users so they'll be more apt 2 trust & try. But if a product is genuinely good with no malicious intent, it's performance will speak 4 itself & wouldn't need 2 resort 2 deceptive practices or the redaction of negative reviews enabled by default (which was the case 4 me until I actively changed that setting). So I'm feeling relatively skeptical about the overall intentions of this extension, as well as its security & overall legitimacy! I mean, who really wants 2 be a guinea pig 2 find out the product has malicious properties or just another know-nothing fool in a sea of many blind-trusting consumers who'll have been bought cheap (in this case 'Free') just 2 be sold down the river 2 the highest bidder or perhaps even a multitude of data brokers. The initial "trust clause" warning offered by Mozilla oughtta tell ya just what kind of liability or accountability 1 might expect should the mere use of said product end up doing some sort of harm 2 the user at the end of the day. Definitely something 2 consider.

发布于 1 个月前Hi! Thanks so much for your feedback and for using YT Video Saver.
It looks like the issue you experienced may be due to how the format was selected. Just a heads-up: when downloading a video, please select only the correct MP4 format for the resolution you want. For example, if you want to download a video in 360p, choose “MP4 360p” only. Do not select both audio and video formats separately, as this can result in audio-only files or playback issues.
Currently, we support:
MP4 for video resolutions up to 2K (1440p)
WEBM for 4K and higher resolutions
We also use modern video codecs like AV1 and M4A to deliver better quality and smaller file sizes. However, these may not be supported on older devices or outdated video players — especially on older MacBooks.
We recommend using the latest version of VLC Media Player, which supports all the formats and codecs we use.
Please give it another try with the correct selection — it should work just fine! If you still face any issues, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at support@ytvideosaver.com. We're here to help!

USE to work without exception ... one of the best ... I SAID "USE TO" ....
nowadays, it seems the developer has opted to reroute your download to a number of ad sites (among them, several that have been Black Flagged as a potential risk) ... have deleted this app from my system and have gone onto looking for something that is a bit more friendlier - 评分 5 / 5来自 Keith Knowlton, 4 个月前An excellent extension to Firefox. - 评分 2 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 15040671, 4 个月前This extension works more often than not, but sometimes things from third-party advertisers download things such as the Opera Browser without asking, and keeps asking for you to allow notifications after saying No to them. The only way sometimes to get out of the third party mess is to close, then reopen the extension and try again. I can get 1080P on this extension where most apps either don't work anymore, or only capable of downloading in 360P. I will still use it, unless IT too stops working because YouTube blocked it, or whatever causes the other extensions to break. 03/2025: Doesn't work half of the time now, takes you to a lot of adult websites , and I keep getting virus warnings. Maybe it will download the first 22.5 MB of a twenty-minute video now. 03/20/25: Takes you to a fake Microsoft Virus Warning page, and won't let you click out. I wouldn't give my name or a nickel for Premium to anyone who would do business with such sleazy third parties just to make a Buck. I wouldn't trust them with my info as far as I could throw them, and couldn't care less about their rationalizations about it either.

发布于 4 个月前Thank you for your feedback! The pop-ups you’re seeing are ads that help us keep the extension free for all users by covering server costs. We understand they can sometimes be frustrating, and we’re always working to improve the user experience.
For an ad-free, faster downloading experience, you can support us with a small donation (as little as $1). This unlocks the premium version with no ads. You can donate via "Buy Me a Coffee" in the top menu—payments are securely processed by Stripe, and we also accept crypto.
If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out. We appreciate your support! 😊 - A powerful and FAST!! uT downloader, faster than any I've tried ... ever. I couldn't find a link to the developer (Natasa) for messages, so this is for her.
Natasa, I rec'd the following message from Firefox for one of the adds that attempted to pop-up. Just FYI.
Quote: uBlock Origin has prevented the following page from loading:
furyprosecutionkitchen dot com/v45q7sb9ub?key=e0b887d6c10e2b6dbfb7329e6f506238
Because of the following filter:

I've donated and plan to donate again. Keep up the good work!!

发布于 4 个月前Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to leave a review! We're thrilled to hear that you find our downloader fast and powerful.
Regarding the ad notification from Firefox, we completely understand your concern. Running this extension requires powerful servers to ensure a smooth and fast experience for everyone. Since our tool is 100% free and we don’t force users into paid memberships like other platforms, we rely solely on donations to cover our costs.
Unfortunately, the reality is that very few people contribute. Without enough donations, we have no choice but to display ads to keep the tool running. We don’t like ads either, and if we received enough contributions—even as little as $1 from users—we would gladly remove all ads and focus entirely on making the tool even better.
We truly appreciate your support and understanding. If you or anyone else would like to contribute, it would help us move towards an ad-free experience for everyone.
