Brain OS is an open-source AI memory system that runs entirely on your machine. This browser agent gives it eyes — automatically capturing and classifying every page you visit so your AI brain remembers what matters.

No configuration needed. Install the extension, start browsing. Your brain is auto-discovered at http://127.0.0.1:45678.

What it captures: Full page content (articles, docs, code), Open Graph / JSON-LD structured data, code blocks, engagement signals (scroll depth, time on page, clicked links). Pages are classified into types (article, code, docs, video, product, social, etc.) and importance-scored 1-10.

Privacy-first: Passwords, API keys, tokens, emails, and credit card numbers are stripped from captured content before saving. All data stays on your machine — never sent to external servers.

Smart features: 5-minute URL deduplication, SPA support via MutationObserver, offline queue with retry, zero-config auto-discovery, manual capture, and a live stats popup.
