The issue you mention is probably caused by a conflict with uBlock as it seems to be the common denominator from people who complained about it.
Regarding data. We don't collect any data and our source code is reviewed often by the Chrome store, Firefox, Opera and Appstore. Apple is specially strict when it comes to privacy so it would not recommend our app if it wasnt 100% safe.
