張貼於 7 個月前Ad blockers first block a site's requests to download ads, then hide the ones that can't be blocked. To do that, the extension needs to see every page you open so that AdBlock can work on every page you visit. 張貼於 9 個月前When we detect YouTube's anti-adblocking warning, we will automatically pause AdBlock so you can continue watching without disruption. The pause is temporary, so if you leave YouTube and return later, it will remain unpaused until the warning is detected again. We believe YouTube will only attempt to show you the wall for a day or two, and then we can go back to blocking ads as normal. — Kat C., AdBlock Support開發者回應

張貼於 10 個月前We are working to find a way around this issue. Twitch has a large, well-funded team focused on finding ways around our blocks. At the same time, we are working against similar teams at YouTube and Facebook, not to mention the many other sites where we are successfully blocking ads. 張貼於 1 年前It is difficult for any ad blocker to block ads on Twitch. Since Twitch ads are inserted directly into the video stream, ad blockers must “race” to block ads on Twitch streams before the site can download them. This means that while AdBlock does block Twitch ads, we may not be able to catch every single ad before you see it. If you see occasional unblocked ads on Twitch while using AdBlock, a simple page refresh should eliminate them. — Kat C., AdBlock Support開發者回應
張貼於 1 年前If you YouTube ads, please try disabling AdBlock for a day or so. When you re-enable AdBlock, you should no longer experience ads. — Kat C., AdBlock Support- So so so frustrating that AdBlock comes with spam these days. Every day, Adblock opens a New Tab requesting that I pay to upgrade to "premium Adblock"...whatever that nonsense is. This behavior only began roughly 1-2 years ago, when Adblock started going downhill. The straw that broke the camel's back tho was that Adblock recently decided to hide the "Block something on this page" button—the only feature that I ever really valued. So, reader, do yourself a favor: skip Adblock & just stick with **uBlock Origin**... it's free, zero spam, & vastly better performance.

They disguise them as "update" notifications but they are pushing updates every week and if you have the extension on multiple devices it will take over whatever tab you have open and show you that it's updated for the 5th time this month on every single device and conveniently also have an option to donate money.
The annoyance quickly builds up. After being interrupted and having to close a good 20-30 pop ups across all my devices a month, I'm done.開發者回應
