張貼於 1 年前Please try allowing ads on YouTube for a day or so. Then, when AdBlock is enabled again, YouTube's warning should no longer show. If that doesn't do the trick, you can reach out to us at support@getadblock.com — Kat C., AdBlock Support- It’s quite ironic that an ad blocker designed to eliminate unwanted commercial spam ends up opening its own unwanted commercial spam. I understand the need to monetize, but opening a new tab to push a subscription offer feels intrusive. Most people are already overwhelmed with numerous subscriptions and don’t want to add another. This approach undermines the very purpose of using an ad blocker in the first place.
Rethink your marketing efforts, AdBlock. Do better.開發者回應
張貼於 1 年前For non-Premium users, our payment page displays when we update the extension to keep you informed on changes we've made and as a reminder to consider upgrading to Premium. There is no obligation to upgrade, and you can dismiss the page by clicking the "x" on the browser tab. Adblock will open up a spam tab every single day asking you to pay money for their "Premium" service. I was using this app because I DIDN'T WANT popups, lmao.
They're also going to reply to this review stating that the basic app is available for free and that the pop-up tab can simply be closed. Hey Adblock, I have a better solution--how about you stop asking for handouts and stop spamming us with popups? :D "If you don't like the tab you can just close it" is the same as saying "Hey, we are going to try to punch you in the face every day, if you don't like that you can just try to dodge the punch."開發者回應

張貼於 1 年前If you see ads, please check that you are subscribed to our primary filter lists: EasyList and Anti-circumvention filters. To access your filter lists, click the AdBlock icon in the browser toolbar, click the gear icon, and then select the Filter lists tab. — Kat C., AdBlock Support開發者回應

張貼於 1 年前Please try checking your settings. First, click on the AdBlock toolbar icon and select the gear symbol on the pop-up menu. Then click on the Filter lists tab. Make sure you are subscribed to our primary filter lists: EasyList and Anti-Circumvention filters. Does not work to block Twitch ads. The Adblock home page claims it is the ONLY Firefox extension that blocks Twitch ads. Failure.開發者回應
張貼於 1 年前If your extension has not been upgraded to Premium, when we update the extension we'll display the payment page to let you know about any new Premium features and offer you the option to upgrade. Feel free to close the page by clicking the "x" on the tab. We are also frustrated by Twitch's ability to circumvent our blocks. The fact that this ad blocker constantly opens a new tab that makes me sometimes lose what I was looking at in my many tabs is astounding. At the rate it happens, I'm starting to feel like this ad blocker is, ironically, adware. I'm not against them asking donations, but to do so in such a obtrusive way defeats the purpose of the extension. Please find another way to ask, or severely reduce the frequency that these tabs show up.
