What It Does
AI Assistant Sidebar brings AI into your browser as a lightweight sidebar. No extra tabs, no third-party accounts, just a simple chat panel available on any page, powered by your chosen AI provider.
Features
- Chat with AI from a clean sidebar without leaving your current tab
- Use your own API key
- Supports OpenAI (GPT) and Google Gemini
- Your API key is stored locally and sent only to your selected provider
- Works with all Gecko-based browsers! (Firefox, LibreWolf, ZenBrowser, etc.)
Getting Started
- Install the extension and open Options when prompted
- Select your AI provider and paste in your API key. Don't have one? See how to get one free here.
- Choose your preferred model and hit Save
- Reload if needed — then start chatting from the sidebar on any page!
