The official Codex Chrome integration is a huge step forward.

But not every developer lives in Chrome.

Some of us use Firefox because of its privacy model, its independence, its extensions, its profiles, or simply because it fits the way we work. And if coding agents are going to become part of our daily workflow, they should not be locked to a single browser.

That’s why I built Codex Browser Bridge for Firefox.

It connects Codex with Firefox through a local bridge, opening the door to browser-aware workflows outside the Chrome ecosystem.

This is not about replacing the official Chrome integration. It’s about giving developers another path.

More choice. More control. More open-web energy.

Still early. Already useful. Very much worth building.
