Merci à Dishita de sa réactivité : Il doit sans cesse réadapter son code ! En effet, souvent YouTube apporte des modifs à son propre code, ceci, justement, afin d'empêcher les extensions de téléchargement de vidéos de fonctionner correctement. Et malheureusement les utilisateurs s'imaginent que c'est l'extension "Easy Youtube Video Downloader" qui n'est pas au point. Et c'est pourquoi certains d'entre eux mettent une mauvaise note. (C'est trop injuste, comme aurait dit Calimero :-( )

I love this add-on! It's simple and effective, and the developer actively maintains it to keep up with YouTube's constant changes to block video download add-ons. IMHO it's as close to a perfect add-on as you can get. I use it regularly and happily sent a donation to support this dedicated developer.

Edit: I originally posted this review in 2021, and am happy to say it's still true in 2024.

Great for downloading youtube videos but if you only want to download the audio there is a problem that you have to be a PRO youtube user otherwise you get:

"Youtube switched to separate audio/video streaming technology for higher quality formats and no longer provides direct 720p (Since 24 September 2018)/1080p/mp3 streams. Converting these streams to downloadable formats for you needs powerful server infrastructure, therefore 1080p/mp3 downloading has been limited to PRO users".

Simple, easy and being able to download 1080p videos is fantastic. A highly recommended add-on which I've been using for years. Thank you Dishita.

The new update is causing webpage to display incorrect size when playing Youtube videos. i.e. The "full screen" button and at the end of timestamp is a little obscured and out of the frame.
