關於此擴充套件
Generates Enterprise Policies for Firefox.
With Firefox 60 and Firefox ESR 60, Mozilla has introduced the so-called Enterprise Policy Engine. The Enterprise Policy Engine allows administrators to configure Firefox via a configuration file. The advantage of this configuration file over Group Policy Objects (GPO) is that this method does not only work on Windows, but cross-platform on Windows, Apple macOS and Linux.
Although this extension is not directly related to the CCK2 Wizard, it shares the same idea as CCK2 Wizard, but it is for Firefox 60 or higher and Enterprise Policies. The Enterprise Policy Generator helps to create the configuration file, so that no in-depth study of the documentation and all possible options is necessary. Administrators can simply click together the desired Enterprise Policies.
Enterprise Policy Generator is a WebExtension and compatible with Firefox Browser 60 and higher (Firefox Browser 68 or higher is required for the latest version of Enterprise Policy Generator).

Enterprise Policies
Dependencies
This is the last release with support for Firefox 115.
- If a filter was active and the user interface was reloaded, the search term was still in the filter field, but the filter was not active and the input field was not visible. Now the filter remains active.
- It was already possible to exclude another policy with a specific value, but it was not possible to exclude another policy if the current policy has a specific value. This is now possible.
- The Preferences policy does not allow the use of all Firefox options. There has already been a validation to ensure that no option name is used that is not allowed to be used or does not start with a certain prefix. However, there are also a few options that start with a permitted prefix but are still not allowed. These options are now also recognized as incorrect by the validation.
- A few preparatory changes to support the ContentAnalysis policy, which will be added in a later release.
- The field descriptions should not take up more space in width than the fields themselves.
Enterprise Policies
- The UseSystemPrintDialog and PrintingEnabled=false policies should exclude each other
- Removed support for the DisablePocket policy because Pocket has been shut down
- Removed support for the legacy preference policies privacy.file_unique_origin and security.ssl.errorReporting.enabled, because these options no longer exist in Firefox
Dependencies
- Updated web-ext from version 8.7.1 to 8.9.0
This is the last release with support for Firefox 115.
