Lix.li URL Shortener is a browser extension that allows you to shorten the current page, create short links for any URL, generate QR codes, and manage your recently shortened links without leaving your browser.
Whether you share links on social media, in emails, messengers, blogs, or documents, Lix.li helps you create clean and easy-to-share URLs in just one click.

One-Click URL Shortening
Click the Lix.li icon in your browser toolbar to instantly shorten the current page URL.
You can also use the keyboard shortcut:
Ctrl + Alt + S
to create a short link without opening the popup.
Right-Click Context Menu
Right-click any link on a webpage and select:
"Shorten link"
to create a short URL directly from the context menu.
QR Code Generation
Generate QR codes for any shortened link and share them on mobile devices, printed materials, presentations, or offline documents.
Link History
Recently shortened links are stored locally inside the extension, allowing you to quickly reopen, copy, or manage your links.
Lix.li Account Integration
Users can optionally add their API key to save shortened links to their Lix.li account and access additional statistics and link management features.
Privacy
Lix.li only processes URLs when explicitly requested by the user.
The extension does not monitor browsing activity, collect browsing history, or access page content. Recently shortened links, settings, language preferences, and API keys are stored locally in the browser.
The extension does not execute remote code.
