NICK v0.57 -
Exporting complaints with all details (full exports) will now include idling location (Adjacent to park, Adjacent to school, Inside of park, or Bus terminal point) along with the school or park name, if found in the record (earlier versions of the portal did not track it). In the full export file, what was previously column AA (School) is now Idling Location, and a new column School or Park Name has been added to its right, pushing the last few columns over by one in the full export.

Minor bug fixes.

NICK version 0.56:
You can now paste the results from clicking on the company name in the prior plate checker (idling.nyc/check.html) or from the USDOT SAFER checker in the NICK menu dropdown into "Fill using summary field" directly, without putting them into a separate spreadsheet first.

v0.55 -
You can now use the "Fill using summary field" from the menu from the main Home page without already being on the new idling complaint page.

Fixed a bug where school or park name might not paste when Nick button in header was used.

NICK v0.54 changes:

1. "Check/enter plate" improves checking for valid priors. Rescheduled, dismissed, or more than 3 year old violations will not be included. For more functionality, you can also use idling.nyc/check.html.
2. "Summons list lookup" now allows ", " in addition to " " and "," as a delimiter.
3. In exported files, most dates are now shown as YYYY-MM-DD for better sorting in spreadsheets. There are limited exceptions where OpenData uses a certain format which has been maintained for consistency.

v0.53 - Soon, dates in the export will be changed to be shown year-month-day (2025-03-23) instead of month-day-year (03-23-2025). This will allow better sorting, but may require users who process the exports with macros or formulas to make some adjustments. Please be prepared.

Autofill - now accepts Canadian provinces. Use only the two-letter code for the province (one of 'AB','BC','MB','NB','NL','NT','NS','NU','ON','PE','QC','SK','YT') in the autofill string.

v0.52: Small tweak to adjust for changes in NYC OpenData server response so that NICK export will continue to function properly.

v0.51 - If you've submitted recently, you've noticed the addition of new, six digit (after the year) complaint numbers. This was needed because 2024 was the first year over 100,000 complaints were submitted, but it broke the sorting of the NICK export and export details functions. This version fixes that, and your exports should be sorted in ascending complaint order once again.

v0.50: Department of State company lookup auto-checkbox will now work for repeated searches.
