That's a pretty old Firefox!
But sadly that won't work, I'm using some features that were added only recently in 102 version.
Note that the Firefox 56 doesn't have security patches released over the 4 years so that can be pretty dangerous!

Juraj Mäsiar- Thanks for continuing the work from Edward and good luck. One problem with your add-on I find is that if I scroll down in the list of my search results, no search previews are shown at part two of the list. I use DuckDuckGo and adjusted it to show automatic more search results by scrolling down, also to load pictures and videos & shopping. In part one of the list, your add-on works like charm, not in part two. If I change in your add-on settings from Google to DuckDuckGo and backwards it shows the previews but if I refresh the search page, the previews are lost! Hope you can fix that.

edit: thank you for your answer and the hint with the popup. i only use google.de.
the test was with google.com. the other add-on loads the next google result pages when scrolling down. these new result pages have no thumbs. this had worked with the old add-on.開發者回應

What exactly do you mean? Please describe it more and I'm sure I can fix it.
Also, if you are not using "google.com" domain, you need to enable it in the popup window.

Some providers needs to be manually enabled through the popup window.
