The Tab Randomizer is a Firefox extension that lets you instantly "shuffle" your tabs to mix up your browsing session.

Simple & Instant:
Just click the toolbar icon or press Alt+Shift+R, and all your tabs will be randomized immediately. It's that easy.

We now support Firefox Tab Groups and offer granular control! Visit the extension settings to choose from 5 distinct shuffling modes:

• Shuffle Top-Level: Randomizes ungrouped tabs and moves entire groups around without breaking them.
• Shuffle Within Groups: Keeps your groups where they are, but randomizes the tabs inside them.
• Shuffle Current Group: Focused chaos—only shuffles the tabs in your currently active group.
• Full Shuffle: deeply randomizes everything – groups and their internal tabs.
• Dissolve & Shuffle: The ultimate reset—ungroups all tabs and shuffles the entire window.

Customizable:
Configure your preferred default action and how "ungrouped" tabs are handled in the improved Options page.
