來自 shark_bloody，7 年前So I tried the add on because of the ability to prevent unloaded tabs to load, I understand that there is no APIs yet, but it does not works as I expected. May I suggest that you take a look at Tab Suspender addon? the way the developer implemented this functionality is way better in my opinion, sadly I can not use this addon due to incompatibilities with other, more crucial, extensions.
Lastly, event do some functions are working in underoptimal conditions, I would have rated it four stars if it was not because it lacks an, in my opinion, key feacture. It can't auto unload tabs.

張貼於 7 年前Neither Tab Suspender not its successor Auto Tab Discard seem to prevent tabs from being unloaded.
I don't really know when I will have time to continue my work on this, but first I want to wait for bug fixes in Firefox. Some are for example landing in FF 61.

can't be used for multiple shift+selected tabs, which completely misses the point of temporarily removing whole window of open tabs from RAM when doing other kind of research in another window

- 評價 5 分，滿分 5 分來自 fandoogle02，2 年前One error for when there's no loaded-tab to switch to, allow app to open 'New Tab' and switch to it as default behavior. I believe adding this functionality would really make the extension nicer. Otherwise, the function is very nice to lower browser resources, I use it often!
