- Misleading and insecure. VeePN claims to offer privacy, but it doesn't even properly hide your IP address. WebRTC leaks still expose real location, and the "free" version is just a teaser — overloaded servers, crawling speeds, and tons of upsells.
It's not a tool for privacy; it's a trap for frustration. Use something that actually protects your identity. This is just a shiny wrapper over poor functionality.

Update: VeePN replied asking for email, but I prefer public accountability. The issues remain: IP leaks, poor performance. My review still stands.

edit: but minus 1 star because Chat Support clearly lied to me in saying multiple browsers on 1 pc count as 1 device, but no, every single login anywhere counts as a single device, even when using 5 browser extensins on the same PC, same user Account, you are done for and need a new subscription. - Hello, this extension has an issue. It's broken websites and caused infinite loading problems. Even when the VPN is not connected, not logged into a user account, and without a premium subscription, some websites (including Google, Supabase, Pinecone) keep throwing errors, such as "Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see browser console for more information)
