YES, YES, YES!! Finally, a working replacement for the various extensions of this type that have come and gone, especially "Ratings Preview for YouTube" which was sold in June 2018 to a questionable owner (and which stopped working for me recently anyway). I am so happy that someone has stepped up to write a new one and I hope you continue to maintain this and keep it working. A Chrome version is available too (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/youtube-thumbnail-rating/cmlddjbnoehmihdmfhaacemlpgfbpoeb)

UPDATE: I've encountered a new problem. I can follow the steps to generate an API key, but I can't enter the key into the extension's settings page. The settings pane appears blank. Any ideas what could be causing this?

    NECESSARY. a high rating isn't everything, but not knowing the rating before going there is like flying blind. thanks.

    Will this be updated soon? It is not working at the moment so I can only give it 1 star, but I really love this extension and hope to get to use it soon again,

    Just added this after the "Return Youtube Dislike" extension stopped working. I wish I had known about this extension a LOT sooner. Very customizable (I put mine to look like a health bar at the top of each video thumbnail and to show a numerical % at the bottom). This is going to save so much time just from not clicking on trash videos in the first place.

    Great extension! Adds important info YouTube intentionally hides, so you can better tell which videos are crap and not waste time on them.

    Perfect, many customization options, e.g. exponential scale, custom colors. Perfect.

    This add-on makes youtube remarkably better. It helps avoid like 90% of clickbaity videos. Also the logarithmic scale is very useful, it makes it easy to differentiate between "just good enough" and GREAT videos. Thanks a lot!
