Edit: Got the update on 7/7/2025 and everything seems to be working again. Much appreciated. I'd really forgotten how unbearable YT is without add-ons like this.

Most options work as advertised, but currently (7/4/2025) the options involving the side bar on the watch page such as opening channels from the sidebar, hide shorts and other items, and dim watched videos seem to be broken. Similar functions on other extensions seem to be broken as well, so I'm guessing YT updated something recently that borked it for everyone. It'd be great to get that fixed. It baffles me that I even need an extension to get YT to stop shoving the same 98% watched videos in my face constantly.

Yes, this is due to YT changes. The next version, which fixes this, is currently awaiting approval from Mozilla. I expect it to be available in 3-5 days.

A lightweight extension with lots of options. Very high customization options, finally YT doesn't look like a trash can.

works great, but recently there has been a clipping issue on the home page, where videos on the right hand side are cut off by a small margin making the drop down menu (:...) to add to playlists or hide videos becomes a little more difficult...turning off the extension fixes it...also have the items per row setting in video grid turned off....

Edit- found the setting responsible...enabling 'fix misaligned videos' in the video grid section or 'dim watched videos' on the homepage section seems to trigger the issue...

Great replacement for Enhancer.
One bug, when you hide live/past broadcasts, it will leave gaps in the grid.
Also since its MIT, why not host on github so people can contribute?

1. Yes, that can happen. That's because the option just hides them, it does not replace them with normal videos (not possible to do, unfortunately).

2. No particular reason, I might do that in the future.

Better than YT Enhancer & YT Search Fixer combined!🥳
Hope you find a fix for hiding Clip/Thanks/Share buttons soon because that doesn't work right now (they simply get pushed into the (...) menu next to the like/dislike buttons instead)

Next version will fix this. Thanks for letting me know. They changed their icons recently, which caused those options to stop working.

I've always liked YouTube tweaks. Recently, however, I've had the problem that when I'm in theater mode, the video is no longer contained within the screen but continues below it. Since I have the pop-out feature enabled for when I scroll down a bit, this is doubly annoying. This has probably been happening since the last update, so for about a week.

Also, what I've also noticed is that when I go to a channel and click on shorts (which I have hidden, no idea why it's still displayed), everything bugs out. The page has to be reloaded.

Are you using the 'Theater mode: Player height' feature? YouTube made an update recently that broke it, but I think I fixed it in latest version (2025.11.12), can you update the extension and confirm?

About second issue, are you talking about the channel banner flickering? If so, it's a long-time YouTube bug.

Good extension. Sadly the theater mode height broke yesterday for me, hopefully can be fixed soon! It goes down lower than it should and the % doesn't seem to change anything anymore.

shitty pointless youtube update completely broke theater mode, I hope the option to change the height can be fixed soon. Other than that this extension is amazing and fixes a lot of their extremely stupid design choices.

Was looking for a replacement for Enhancer for YouTube (now that the new UI partially broke it) and this is the best one I found! A few features it could borrow that would further improve my experience:

- Auto expand into theater mode
- Auto pause background tabs with videos playing when a video starts playing in a new tab
- Universal auto pause when opening video
- Boost volume toggle UI button
