EGOTEC AG attaches great importance to data protection and the legal data protection regulations are therefore always implemented and complied with.
Therefore we also explain our handling of your personal data.

a) When visiting the application

When you call up our application, the browser used on your end device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is recorded without your intervention and stored until it is automatically deleted:

IP address of the requesting computer,
Date and time of access,
Name and URL of the retrieved file,
Website from which the access takes place (referrer URL),
the browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer, as well as the name of your access provider.

The above-mentioned data will be processed by us for the following purposes:

To ensure a smooth connection of the website,
Guarantee a comfortable use of our website,
Evaluation of system security and stability and
for other administrative purposes.



The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter f DSGVO. Our legitimate interest follows from the above listed purposes for data collection. Under no circumstances will we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person.b) Contacting us by e-mailIf you contact us by electronic means (by e-mail), the personal data transmitted to us will be collected. These data are stored and used exclusively for the purpose of answering your request or for contacting you and the associated technical administration Legal basis for the processing of the data is our legitimate interest in answering your request in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. If your contact is aimed at the conclusion of a contract, an additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO.Your data will be deleted after the final processing of your request, this is the case if it can be concluded from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively clarified and provided that there are no legal storage obligations to the contrary. After expiry of the retention period, the relevant data will be routinely deleted if they are no longer required for the fulfilment or initiation of the contract and/or if we have no legitimate interest in the further storage of the data. Please note that you should only send us emails in encrypted form in order to protect the confidentiality of your request from third parties. If communication via PGP is desired, please let us know.
3. handling of your personal data

Your personal data will only be processed by EGOTEC GmbH and will not be forwarded to third parties without your prior consent. We make every effort to take all necessary technical and organisational security measures to store your personal data in such a way that they are protected against unauthorised access and misuse.

When handling data, our employees are obliged to observe the regulations of the BDSG and DSGVO as well as the various relevant state laws on data protection.

To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use encryption procedures (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS. Our servers are secured by firewall and virus protection. Back-up and recovery as well as role and authorisation concepts are a matter of course for us.
4 How long does the data remain stored?

We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. We therefore only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated herein or as required by the various storage periods provided for by law. After the respective purpose has ceased to exist or these periods have expired, the corresponding data is routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.
5. your rights to information, correction, blocking, deletion and objection

You have the right to receive information about your personal data stored by EGOTEC GmbH at any time. You also have the right to correction, blocking or, apart from the prescribed data storage for business processing, deletion of your personal data. Please also contact our data protection department for this purpose.
