Same, It was deal breaker for me to use Firefox because of it, now it isn't. Neither could I find anything as good, i used Better History in Chrome before, but no alternative existed for Firefox, so I made my own extension for Chrome and Firefox, that's even better. And I don't think they will update it soon, to me it looks like old Internet Explorer history page.

I'm trying to understand all visits by URL part, I can't understand you well. There is filter to search only by URL and it will list only those visits (button next to search input), only inside popup it will not show more then 30 results, because of efficiency, it would need lazy loading.
