    The fact you need this for basic functions in 2026 is embarrassing for Firefox/Chrome but thank goodness it exists.

    Works perfectly! With this extension I can retire the JPEG format completely - no more JPEGs on my computer.

    It would be great (handier) if the Context-menu item would be "Save Image as Type" instead "Save image as" (which is also the name of the regular Save Image). "Save Image as Type" is also how it's identified in Chrome and mentioned in the "How to use". Installed version : 1.1.4

    Because the Icon is White, it is not visible in the Context-Menu which is White too. Better would be to use the version as used at the top of the Addon-page in the Store

    Thanks for the extension, it's irritating to manually having to convert webp files to png, also is there an extension like this but for mpeg and mp3 or wav files instead?

    simple right click and drop down menu to select ur preferred format works perfect

    Adapt the context menu icon to the light theme. White on white does not look very convenient.

    It didn't convert image to selected format, just changed extension in previous version, now it works fine. Thanks!

    OLD: works does what it says it will and i like the option to set a default extension one question tho, why is there a "view in store button" personally i think it makes the menu look a but ugly if there was an option to hide it in the options menu that would be nice

    Glad it’s working well for you. This started as a port from the Chrome version, so I kept everything as-is. I’ll add an option to hide the “View in Store” button when I get the time.

    The “View in Store” button is now hidden by default and you can enable it if you want from the options...

    Finally an extension that does what it promises. The fact that this still integrated into firefox by default is mind-boggling.

    Where has this wonderful addon been all this time! Glad I found it :3
    Simple and easy to use and you can set .png as default for example, and that's about it. Just works!

    Though I wonder if it could also override ctrl+s etc. actions.

    Thanks! Glad you found it useful.

    As for Ctrl+S, Firefox doesn’t let extensions override default shortcuts like that, it’ll always try to save the whole page. But I might be wrong, I’ll look into it.
