von Era, vor 2 JahrenIt use to be great, now they focus on (ironically) advertising adblock plus Premium through "donations". Every time its updated (every 2-3 days) it'll bring up a page that begs for donations, and you can't disable it. But if you "purchase" premium, that page won't come up.
I've seen the developers responses, trying to skirt around the issue "But if its multiple tabs at once then report to us immediately!"
Absolute adwere scam. Absolutely ironic.
PS: Note how the developers response doesn't actually talk about the issue. You. Cannot. Turn off. The advert.

Hi,
We are updating the extension, therefore a popup might appear (it will only happen once per browser/device), but you can simply close it and continue browsing.
Here's more about how our contribution page works: For non-Premium users, we populate the page when we update the extension to keep you informed on changes we've made and as a reminder to support Adblock Plus if you find the software beneficial. We don't track who has previously paid unless your extension is already upgraded to Adblock Plus Premium (and in that case we won't show you the update page at all). The contribution page also displays just after installing ABP so it sometimes appears even though you have recently contributed or have paid for Premium.

Власне, це мені від нього треба і це мені в ньому подобається.

I will report this app, and recommend others do as well. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!

Máte plné ruce a nemůžete se bránit. A někdo jiný si toho všimne a příjde vám na pomoc! Mně na webu přišel pomoct AdBlock. Je to ochranný prostředek pro psychické zdraví. Díky za něj.

Other ad blockers have enough common sense not to CAUSE THEIR OWN POP-UP ADS. When good ad blockers like uBlock Origin update, they do it quietly without bothering the user. The people at ABP thought you wouldn't mind annoying adverts if it was from them. Advertising to me a product I already have installed is a sure sign these people do not respect users time.

geschrieben am vor 2 MonatenWe appreciate your feedback. We use a system called smart allowlisting: if you do not visit a website that you have allowlisted within 7 days, it gets automatically removed from your allowlisted websites. If you visit it in 7 days, it will get renewed for another 7 days.
