Haven't tried the extension much. I mostly wanted to be able to adjust the playback speed with keyboard shortcuts.

FINDING SETTINGS. I found it tricky to find the settings/options for the extension. They can be found by clicking the navigation bar icon. If the icon is not visible in the navigation bar, click the extension icon (puzzle piece), and then the name of the extension (not the settings gear next to the name).

My initial review was just asking for instructions on how to find the settings, which has been requested several times before and still remained unanswered. The developer seems to take everything as a personal attack and interpreting low ratings as malicious, and rather than giving straight answers goes on rants and insult the reviewers.

EDIT: hi again Sir, we still didn't insult you at all. Most of all browser extensions are just used this way, with nav-bar icons most of the time. After installation the appear at the "puzzle piece", then people "pin" them. Browser changed this a few times in over the years. It is is no bad, if you aren't an expert of these particular facts, but as said this extension is made for the common and easy way only. In about 10.000 user messages i read this maybe 5 times, so it is highly unlikely to appear 3 times in a row in 2023. BTW. i even I took the time for to figure out enabling your preferred other way to call the options, which is available since 5 days now. If you don't care for the extension and didnt find an issue, you shouldn't even rate 4 stars. It is below our average of 4.52.

Still unsure whats the joke. Why would you feel so strong here? It is very unlikely / paradox if you wait for this extension like christmas gifts and already know the features are good, yet already want to attack the giver / volunteers. You might not want to hurt enduring volunteers or be perceived as spam. One more time: You can review the answer. It is informative. Most of all extensions have a navbar-browser-icon. Searching for options in the browser's full extension list is a bit old /outdated way and if you open it like that, it is far from what we meant (, which is switching on features while you are on YouTube to see the effect immediately).

    I only use this addon for setting the quality of videos to 1080p, and it does that, so its cool.

    Leider bremst diese Erweiterung das laden der Youtube Videos stark aus, teilweise bis zur Unbenutzbarkeit von YT. Zur Zeit wird nur die obere Zeile der Seite in den Theme-Farben angezeigt.

    So, I installed this for the sole purpose of having Youtube playlists in reverse order but this is not working

    There are quite a few features that are interesting but this extension causes some bugs as well. All videos start and then go back to the beginning after one second or so

    The tweaks that work are great but if the page load is heavy and the features I'm most interested in don't work I cannot justify using this extension

    AMAZING I have only a couple problems that occurred for me (please read)

    so when hiding the home feed/page, the issue is the buttons at the top don't go away

    there needs to be a way to go to the last (or latest video) I watched in a playlist without removing videos

    there needs to be a way to get the old look of youtube back such as the old player, thumbnails, square icons, etc.,

    the button to delete videos from playlists does work, the problem is the context menu shows up (it clicks both the delete videos button and the 3 dots)

    the remove videos slider doesn't show up in playlists other than my watch later

    IF these issues are resolved I will change my rating to 5 star thx

    Used to be good in the past. Now not so much. While there are a lot of great options i consider a must have, sadly it makes youtube tabs extremely heavy and also near unusable. The YT interface becomes laggy and tabs freeze constantly.
    Worse is that it happens on both Chrome and Firefox on two different PC's. (even worse is that performance issues have been present for a long time now, they just got worse and worse over time with each update)

    Since the last update, i can't even open the settings anymore, it just says "asking your browser what settings you made here before" (on the FF PC) so i can't even export my settings (or more importantly, the watched list) anymore.

    Sadly all of that means that the addon is unusable and simply does not work as intended anymore.
    I hope it will improve at some point, but for now i can do nothing but to remove the addon for good, from all my devices.

    Please avoid wrong reviews.
    Please be precise - possibly it is slow with one specific option enabled? (1 in 300)

    I added that extension, set some basic functions in first category and YT page couldn't load with Firefox popup that extension slowing down browser.. uninstalled.

    The settings will not be retained. Every new page load is unchanged even though the settings are listed as active.

    While the features this addon provides are great, I am unable to use any of them because every time I attempt to install this extension, my computer becomes unusably laggy regardless of whether youtube is active or not. My computer gets so laggy that youtube videos are no longer able to play. Am not sure if this is an issue on my end or on the developer's end but this extension is completely unusable for me.

    For the past few days, some YouTube pages in Firefox have been experiencing terrible page freezes. The built-in manager shows a load of 100% or even 200+%. When the add-on is disabled and the page is reopened, everything returns to normal.

    The fit-to-window feature is mostly what I wanted, and it works properly. I wanted it to hide the recommendations column completely as I find those distracting, while having the video as large as possible without fullscreening the browser.

    Worked well until it started crashing both my Zen browser and my wife's Waterfox with memory exhaustion.
