- Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Hanako, vor 11 StundenI tried this extension because I was hoping that muting a keyword would mute/hide the entire post for me and not just the muted word, because originally I downloaded it to try to use on Twitter. It's fine for hiding words but I'd like it more if it'd hide entire posts that have the keywords completely. I can't get rid of seeing certain posts in the search despite the words itself in the post being hidden, and I'd rather not see them at all. Blacklists work for the home timeline in Twitter already, but I need it for the search too.
edit: okay so I did what was suggested and I didn't know it could do that so this was SO helpful. Thank you so much!Antwort des Entwicklers
geschrieben am vor 8 StundenThanks for trying out ElementHider! Please try to adjust the "hiding sensitivity" for the keyword. You can set sensitivity for each keyword by clicking the keyword and adjusting the sensitivity slider (higher number = higher area to be hidden e.g. only the word vs. The whole post). You also have a global sensitivity slider on the settings page which will adjust the default sensitivity for all the keywords. This should help with hiding the whole post. - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon redgamehunter, vor einem MonatEDIT: Keeping original review for posterity and so dev response makes sense, but updating from 3 to 5 stars because my gosh, they actually fixed it, and not very long after I'd posted the review. Beautiful dev, truly
It's great at what it does, but... even if I turn hiding off and tell it only to work on one specific website and set filter words to one specific website... 3 different layers of "this should not touch this other website I don't want touched", this extension being on breaks ebay, utterly and completely. You can't sign in, you can't add to cart once you are signed in, lot of functionality breaking. I tried all kinds of settings tweaks, the only way to get the website working was to fully disable the extension while I was using it.Antwort des Entwicklers
geschrieben am vor einem MonatHi! Thanks for the feedback. This should be now fixed in the latest version (v1.1.0). The previous version was too aggressive for some sites using vue.js for example. Sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. Best, Valtteri - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon coyo, vor 4 Monaten

Have found this extension to work like a charm and is perfect, if one is so inclined, to hide promotions of certain AI features and to hide certain AI-related elements (like overviews and summaries) one cannot opt out of.

- Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Bill Baldwin, vor einem JahrThere is nowhere to enter keywords to hide elements. I select Options or Manage and it takes me to the same thing that has Details, Options, Permissions. None of these has a place to enter keywords. Element Hider does not appear in my toolbar or right-click menu. I cannot find any way to use it.
- Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Readthereeds, vor 2 JahrenI'm sick of seeing Trump and Musk in new articles. I added their names to this extension. Now my screen contains no depressing Trump/Musk articles when reading news websites. It works perfectly!
