always reliably present
easy to fill form fields
easy to save new access information
-
only the top level domain is saved, not the whole URL, which disqualifies this add-on for webdesigners & co who need to distinguish between back-end, front-end, update panel, database etcAntwort des Entwicklers

Let us know which features you're missing at https://proton.me/support-contact so we can document your feedback accordingly. - Bewertet mit 3 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 19493436, vor 3 MonatenAuto-fill is a mess. Others have solved this - there's no excuse for it not to function on every site. It's not a difficult computer science problem - it just requires that Proton put in the work to make it function. I have no trouble with Bitwarden. Also, where is the damn generate button? I don't always want to generate a PW for Proton Pass. Sometimes I want a PW for something else. The code is in there - surface it to make it easier to get at. In general, I find Proton's security to be excellent but their UI/UX needs a hell of a lot of work. And yes, I pay full freight for DUO and Lumo+.

However it could do with some Credit Card autofill features and a better UX for "Cards" and "Notes". I save notes of importance to ProtonPass but to search for them is a bit painful, serving up logins first.
But all in all, keep developing it out, it's nearly perfectAntwort des Entwicklers

On another note, when searching for a specific type of item, you can adjust the 'Filter vault items' option accordingly in order to make searching easier. - Bewertet mit 3 von 5 Sternenvon RomTom, vor 7 Monaten
- Bewertet mit 3 von 5 Sternenvon Beep, vor 7 MonatenProton products are good but the lack of tech support and the fact a lot of their wording is rather vague on what they offer in their paid packages keep me from supporting them wholeheartedly.

If so, you should be able to access your Proton Pass entries without an active internet connection, but it's not possible to edit existing entries and create new ones. - Bewertet mit 3 von 5 Sternenvon Iver R, vor 10 Monaten
- Bewertet mit 3 von 5 Sternenvon Protoplasmic Blob in Sector G, vor einem JahrTakes some janking around to get it working on Linux. The plugin often has to be accessed from the top menu of the browser for it to activate and work. Lots of work-arounds required to make it function, but it does work.

Integrated email alias feature is very good, this why I switched from 1Password to Proton, but some features are missing (autocomplete credit cards, saving a key (and not a only a login/password), ...)Antwort des Entwicklers

Regarding the option to save a key, could you elaborate more on this? The Proton Pass extension already offers the option to save a 2FA secret key (TOTP) (proton.me/support/pass-2fa). If you're referring to something else, contact us using the 'Feedback & Help' option to let us know. - Bewertet mit 3 von 5 Sternenvon rptb1, vor einem JahrProton Pass has an attractive front end, but few technical advantages over e.g. Firefox password manager. Most of its fancy features don't work properly. It has many false positives for "re-used passwords" and "weak passwords" making its advice meaningless. I'm hoping it develops more actual function and not just surface buzzword stuff.
Oh, and it's only "free" for basic use. They will *totally* pressure you to buy more services.Antwort des Entwicklers

The popup showing the users is still popping. It was working in the previous version.

geschrieben am vor einem JahrSorry to hear that. Could you share more details about the issue? Which specific websites have you experienced this behavior with? What version of the Firefox browser do you currently have installed? Have you tried reinstalling the extension to see how it goes? Contact us at https://proton.me/support/contact with more details so we can help. - Bewertet mit 3 von 5 Sternenvon Sparrow__, vor einem JahrThis is my preferred password manager and MFA tool but it still needs a lot of work. In particular the process of creating a new account needs fixing so that new accounts and logins created are automatically saved, rather than having to manually create a login and then manually feed the details into the website. Currently Proton Pass suggests a login and password to autofill but does not actually save these automatically if you select them. This means that you immediately have to change you password again.

Disappointing.
EDIT: Seems there was a conflict. I had the LastPass extension installed, and as part of testing out the Proton Pass product, to see if I could switch, I had left LastPass installed. Once I disabled the LastPass extension in Firefox, the Proton Pass extension worked correctly.Antwort des Entwicklers
geschrieben am vor einem JahrThat doesn't sound right. Would you mind describing the issue further? What are the exact steps you're taking that lead to these lockups? Are you receiving any error messages? We'd be more than happy to help, but we need some basic details to work with. Contact us at proton.me/support/contact so we can help.
