It's certainly not a replacement for the default find/highlight but on sites where I do the same searches everyday Auto Highlight is a godsend.

Also it's persistent unlike the find in Firefox. Firefox clears when you change pages (Chrome is persistent). This is annoying when you have to go through several pages to highlight the same text as you must manually highlight again every time.

Needs a right click "Quick Highlight" feature. It's annoying to have to go through the dialog every time i want to make a simple highlight. In fact i can't even find a decent highlight plugin for Firefox that works at all. So far this is the only one i have tried that works at all. I have tried maybe 6 or 7.

Edit: Currently the dialog opens for any Highlight and its annoying to have to enlarge the dialog then and only then close it. You have to always enlarge before closing it. Would be nice if you could disable that or make an immediate option "Quick Highlight" that doesn't have the > to expand another menu. That i would use.

Great Addon!♥ however after some point, if you have many highlights saved, adding a new one takes about 10 seconds after selecting the 'Highlight "text"' option (I have AMD 5600 CPU & 32 GB of RAM).

Is there a way to do multiple keywords as phrases rather than using 'Each Word'?

For example, under one rule:
Word1+Word2, Word3

Most of the time it works great, except for occasionally altering parts of the content on web pages.

Does exactly what it says. Also, this is very customizable for each word you want highlighted.

I wish there was a way to group my rules, especially if groups could have their own settings that override their child rules settings.
Example: Group: "Some online marketplace" [domain:example.com] -> Nested group: “Rating 5” [color:green] -> Rule: "Some product" [expression:"Some product", remaining settings: …]

Ingenious and amazing solution for highlighting keywords (customer names on the WC orders page) and adding a comment about them.
I was hoping to be able to synchronise data with another PC without needing to sync Firefox. Perhaps the possibility of defining the path of the local backup?
