I decided to give Bitwarden a try after hearing online about how Bitwarden was better than the Firefox password manager. But when I tried it, I quickly found a major security flaw: After you input your pin/password, the addon stays unlocked and doesn't require your pin to view the passwords in your vault. So what this means is that anyone can jump on your computer and view all your saved passwords???

Even the Firefox password protects against this, once you enter your master password/passcode, it remains unlocked BUT if you try to view your saved passwords in your vault; it'll ask for your PIN again.

Overall, I'm staying with Firefox's password manager.

    Broken on Android tablet.Cannot see full screen for UI in order to use it. Autofill is useless. For years just creates new pass.

    The last 2 updates (late 2025, early 2026) have broken a lot of basic functionality, and have made this app UNDEPENDABLE and SLOW to login. No longer works correctly on many sites that it did before the last "updates." Please stop making your app far worse with disastrous "updates."     Also eure Plugins funktionieren weder bei Firefox, Chrome usw., ich gebe es auf.
    Man bezahlt gut Geld für nichts, es funktioniert einfach seit einem Jahr nichts richtig.
    Und immer wieder heißt, es kommt ein Fix. Dasselbe Spiel mit der Android App, die funktioniert auch nie. Aber gut ein Jahr ist rum und ich Wechsel jetzt, diesen scheiß tue ich mir nicht mehr an. Dafür Geld zu verlangen ist eine Frechheit.

    This POC simply does not work. It fails to fill passwords on many websites. It DOES NOT work on android. It asks to save passwords that are already saved leaving you with multiple instances of the same password, but if you change the password, it doesn't change all of them. It's just a piece of shit.
