- Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót JC, fyrir 4 árum síðanAmazing extension, very straightforward to use. coupled with duck duck go and their privacy extension i always know what each site is up to. some websites hiccup, or deny access, mostly when trying to access account information or using credit cards. so far this has been very minor, and only on websites that i trust (like my bank) must have for anyone who enjoys peace of mind online.

jo se napisał fyrir 4 árum síðanUsually you install the addon, select a preset that matches your needs and you are good to go.
Please open an issue at https://github.com/kkapsner/CanvasBlocker/issues with a description of what you want instructions for. There we can communicate better and you can follow the progress on the subject. - Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Wužywaŕ Firefox 16469568, fyrir 4 árum síðanAwesome. Works great. Thanks for the privacy policy that actually allows for... privacy!
- Z 1 z 5 pógódnośonywót WISEGUY, fyrir 4 árum síðanI downloaded this and it really blocked most of my sites and make a lot of other Firefox Icons stop working. I uninstalled it and everything is fine. My friend had the same thing happen. We both use the newest Firefox and windows 10. Thanks anyway but we will stay away from this add-on..

jo se napisał fyrir 4 árum síðanI'm not sure what you exactly mean by "a lot of other Firefox Icons stop working" but it sounds like something I should look into. Please open an issue at https://github.com/kkapsner/CanvasBlocker/issues with your specific problem and your settings.
The blocking of sites is often something that can be addressed by settings. You can also open an issue for that and I can look what your sites need to work properly. - Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót somnitek, fyrir 4 árum síðan

- Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Smitsars, fyrir 4 árum síðanreally helped my online activities. its unimaginable how much the third party tracker want to track you. literally like "this is the user screen, right now. I want to know."

jo se napisał fyrir 5 árum síðanUnfortunately there is nothing I can do about that. Mozilla dropped add-on support in Fenix except for some hand picked ones. CanvasBlocker is not part of that list (it is not "recommended" by Mozilla).
It's up to Mozilla to decide on add-ons in Fenix: https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2020/09/02/update-on-extension-support-in-the-new-firefox-for-android/ - Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Kovu, fyrir 5 árum síðan

- Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Wužywaŕ Firefox 16277808, fyrir 5 árum síðanGreat lightweight extension that can help protect your privacy by giving randomised readouts when websites try to fingerprint you. Best used in conjuction with other privacy tweaks such as blocking third party cookies, and using an ad/tracker blocker like uBlock Origin.
- Z 4 z 5 pógódnośonywót Tibs, fyrir 5 árum síðanA good add-on with tons of settings, and information regarding them. Not a fan of the UI, though. The add-on window, only shows 5 options, and one search bar. I would like to see this expanded with more options relating to what's being blocked/altered (or is not), whitelisting, and so on. The main add-on Settings page also looks ugly, but at least it's functional.
Overall, I would suggest this add-on to others. I found it does a better job than competition, which considering how much there is, is pretty impressive.Wótegrono wuwijarja
jo se napisał fyrir 5 árum síðanYou can find the information about what is blocked/faked in the page action menu by clicking on the fingerprint icon in the address bar. - Z 4 z 5 pógódnośonywót Wužywaŕ Firefox 13950755, fyrir 5 árum síðan

- Z 4 z 5 pógódnośonywót quirK, fyrir 5 árum síðanWhitelisting works, and even has 2 different kinds of whitelisting. The global one, as well as the one by API breakdown. Both need to be updated in terms of UI response and have a better and faster way of adding a website. No easy way to set a safe setting that *just works*, something always breaks and there's no easy "whitelist this specific breakage" button available.
Wótegrono wuwijarja
jo se napisał fyrir 5 árum síðanThe whitelisting is working for me. Please open an issue at https://github.com/kkapsner/CanvasBlocker/issues with your specific problem and your setting.
I mostly use default settings and have no whitelist defined. Please also mention the web sites that break in your issue.
How the whitelist button can be found is explained here for example: https://github.com/kkapsner/CanvasBlocker/issues/330
PS: the UI is a topic I want to tackle in the near future.
