Love that i can 'pause' it for 30 min if needed to check something it's not allowing (for my safety). Or turn it right back on.

Yes I will keep using Ghostery, and will let others know about how great it works

Ghostery Team - Ghostery is sometimes great, sometimes not so great. I have seen it allow through multiple pop-up "Adult" ads (for X-rated games especially) while triggering the YouTube "We're about to stop your viewing" warning. I understand this is an ongoing war between Google and ad-blockers, and Google needs to wise up both in the number of ads it employs on YouTube and their length (a 30 second ad every 3 minutes on a video is ridiculous). And if Ghostery won't stop X-rated ads, what value is it?
This is a complex field and I sympathize with the company. It does stop a LOT of ads and the settings are versatile (allowing to restrict some sites while blocking others). But it doesn't really do all the job all the time... and the YouTube war is a real problem for the whole industry since Google seems to have no common sense whatsoever. - Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Wužywaŕ Firefox 18232795, 2 年前
