wót Felpies, לפני שנתייםWorks as expected, adds a progress and volume slider underneath the videos, including reels, it's baffling that in this day and age Facebook expects you to lower you whole system or whole browser volume to not get your eardrums ruptured when watching a video, or that you need to rewatch it from the beginning to see an specific part of the video, oh well, that's enshitfication for you.
My only gripe with this addon is that when you reload the page the volume slider goes back to 0, but I think this is an limitation either of Firefox or Instagram's site.

Which begs the question even more strongly, why oh why does Instagram still not implement these 'features' (bare minimum) to the browser experience?!

It works very well and integrates very well into the Instagram UI, but I have the feeling that when the extension is enabled, RAM usage increases significantly.

Author, please find a way to fix this. I also thought - Firefox has a picture-in-picture mode for videos with video controls - maybe your extension could use that?

jo se napisał לפני 7 חודשיםHi, thanks for sharing your feedback. This extension can increase CPU load slightly when scrolling through Instagram, but shouldn't trigger any stress on our drive. If you want, you can share a screenshot of you browser's task-manager via my email.
Firefox does support PiP, but doesn't offer a JavaScript API for developers. It only offers its own floating PiP button, but developers cant use this function manually. That's why this feature is currently Chrome exclusive in my extension. - Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Fen, לפני 7 חודשים
