The extension should work on 57.0.1. The icon appears _only_ when a page asks for your location. Try this demo:

- Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót sirensynapse, 2 år sidenWorks perfectly though it's not pinnable to the toolbar (FIX THIS!!!),. so getting through the multiple layers of settings to actually change things is a bitch. Go to manage extensions, then options then "use fixed location" to nail a location down.
