The notification thing is not something from my addon is from Google Calendar itself + Firefox. Very occasssionaly I notice that it displays the corect day of the month, for instance today is the 6th and when I started up firefox it showed '6' - but when I clicked the icon it reverted back to showing '31'. I've checked the my google calendar settings and can't see anyhting that might be resposible for this. Would be great to be able to see the correct day at a glimpse...
