wót dubious_creature, kaksi kuukautta sittenWitnessed a significant number of instances recently of people being marked green while actively misgendering trans people, calling them slurs etc. and people being marked red despite the exact opposite behaviour. Not fit for purpose outside of certain public figures whose positions are already very obvious.

- Z 1 z 5 pógódnośonywót paradoxkin, 15 tuntia sittenI am a gender nonconforming trans individual who is outspoken about my support for queer rights, but I found myself marked red on shinigami eyes after someone I got into a petty online disagreement with had all of their friends to mark me as unsafe. This is an issue I've seen repeat over the last multiple years, and it's only gotten worse with time. This used to be a really useful extension, but it's been warped and weaponized against the very community that built it. I can't say I recommend it anymore because it does not accurately identify transphobia/queerphobia as it used to.

- Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót solca, päivä sittenStill very good -- not flawless, but absolutely reliable enough for five stars as long as you remember that it is solely a measure of unconditional trans-friendliness, not a "good person" stamp; you could theoretically be a green-flagged Pinkerton if you have unwavering support for trans people, and your sweet kindly grandma who was at Stonewall can be red-flagged if she posted too much about how much she liked What Is A Woman. There's a lot of overlap between transphobes and generally hateful people, but it's important to remember as a (potential) user that's not a perfect overlap.
If anyone's wondering why reviews are so contentious recently, it's because the extension doesn't just red-flag for general transphobia, but also for transmisogyny specifically -- even if the user is friendly towards nb/transmasc folks. This means some of that group is confused that they, a trans person, are being thrown in with the TERFs and conservatives when they were actually stamped that way for being transmisogynistic. The exact bound of what constitutes transmisogyny is vulnerable to infighting, but it's still extremely rare for it to actually cause an issue, and in that case you gotta use your brain.
Maybe someone will make an extension that will green-flag people who support only the part of the community they belong to, but I certainly prefer the stricter requirement that people actually support the entire trans community.
Thanks devs for a very useful extension! - Z 1 z 5 pógódnośonywót sharkbaitcrochet, neljä päivää sittenGenuinely does not serve its intended purpose anymore. People that make threats against trans men and transmascs are marked green but anyone who speaks out against anti transmasculinity, exorsexism, or intersexism is marked red. Trans men and transmascs speaking about their experiences and putting a name to that experience isn't a threat to trans women or transfems.
- Z 1 z 5 pógódnośonywót spiinniing, neljä päivää sittenUsed to be useful. Infiltrated by TERFs, overrun with racism, exorsexism, and lateral transphobia. Cannot speak for other social media sites as I don't use them, but it's useless on tumblr. It used to be if I saw a red name and checked, nearly 100% of the time it was a TERF/radfem or otherwise transphobe. Now, if I see a red name, nearly 100% of the time it's just a trans masculine person or an intersex person. It seems like he/him in bio is enough to get you marked red on this extension now lmfao. Would not recommend, hope an alternative that seeks to protect ALL trans people is created.
- Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót awawa, kuusi päivää sittenDisregard the reviews from transmisogynists who are mad they or their fellow men's rights activists friends got marked red. Men are not oppressed on the basis of being men, never have been, never will be, and if you are a trans man actively de/misgendering yourself to try to cry that you're oppressed for your "female socialization" or whatever the hell, you have fallen for transmisogynistic dogwhistles. Do better. If you're on the fence, it's quite accurate, EVEN ON TUMBLR, and if you disagree with that, you are part of the problem. It's actually LESS accurate on other sites like Bluesky or Twitter because people will get marked green for saying "trans rights" once, but then they'll post dogwhistles and slurs that harm transfeminine people.

- Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót gigi, yhdeksän päivää sittenthis add-on is actually rlly reliable if you fully comprehend *why* the people who are marked red/green are marked red/green. it's not about whether or not you're "nice" or are "normal," it's about whether or not you're safe for trans people to be around; specifically, *transfeminine* people, as they are the most vulnerable members of the trans community, and anyone who isn't safe for them shouldn't be considered "trans friendly." that's really all there is to it. useful extension!!! although i agree with people who say it would be nice to know why certain people were marked red/green, the context would be useful too

- Z 1 z 5 pógódnośonywót mystieneko, 23 päivää sittenlots of false flags, intersex people and trans men are almost always marked red while transmisandrists are marked green
- Z 1 z 5 pógódnośonywót thevdsasff, 24 päivää sittenused to use this religiously after it first came out and at first it was genuinely useful. now after discovering i'm intersex i try to go to any community for the topic anywhere and everyone is marked red because our discussions of gender and sex don't 100% align with the mods views (which then gets called transmisogynist, when nobody is saying anything of the sort at all). this includes a disproportionate number of transfems, so the claims that simply being transfem will get you marked green are false. i have, however, seen people get marked within days of making an account somewhere *just because they are posting in intersex spaces*. so do with that information what you will. i personally never plan on using the extension again, i'll vet people myself
- Z 1 z 5 pógódnośonywót Wužywaŕ Firefox 19803232, 24 päivää sittenAbysmal tool if you genuinely care about safety from transphobes. There is a mountain of examples where people who spew intersexist, exorsexist and antitransmasculine hatred 24/7 get to secure their "safe" marking while painting their trans siblings who won't stand for that as the real transphobes.
